The state procurement procedure should be simplified in Kyrgyzstan. The Director of the State Procurement Department Ulan Ozumbekov announced this today at a press conference.
According to him, the portal should be more convenient and integrated with the treasury. The public should monitor the process of state procurement. A catalog of goods and services will be developed in the near future. It will be launched in test mode in mid-July.
According to Ulan Ozumbekov, some points of procurement are complicated. Procedures are to be simplified. Everyday goods may be bought without holding a tender, but with the mandatory posting of information about procurement item and its price.
