Secretary of the Security Council, Damir Sagynbaev, told reporters today that starting from July 1, 2018, income and expenses declarations of all state employees without exception would be rechecked.
Declarations of high-ranking officials, as well as deputies of the Parliament, will be checked by the employees of the central office of the State Tax Service.
The head of the Security Council stressed that if there are discrepancies in the indication of the revenue and expenditure parts, the materials will be handed over to the Prosecutor General’s Office for a legal assessment.
The Security Council expects its first results at the end of August.
Damir Sagynbaev added that he did not exclude the initiation of criminal cases after the check.
