The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov the day before withdrew his material claims to the journalist Kabai Karabekov.
The bailiff of the service of bailiffs for the Sverdlovsk district of Bishkek city ruled to stop the enforcement proceedings against the journalist Kabai Karabekov.
According to the document, the plaintiff Sooronbai Jeenbekov appealed to the bailiffs’ service with a request to stop the enforcement proceedings in connection with the refusal to recover from Kabai Karabekov five million soms as compensation for moral damage.
The bailiff has notified about the termination of the enforcement proceedings. The Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan confirmed that Sooronbai Jeenbekov, following the withdrawal of his material claims to 24.kg news agency, withdrew material claims also to the author of the article that published an article on the website of the agency on September 11, 2017 «Visit to Sochi.
