The convicted ex-MP Omurbek Tekebayev will be convoyed to the Cardiology Center for examination today. The State Penitentiary Service informed 24.kg news agency.
«Convicted Omurbek Tekebayev will be brought to the Cardiology Center for examination. Doctors will take a cardiogram, examine him for other diseases. Afterwards, the decision on the need to leave him in the cardiology center or return him to the colony will be made at the consultation,» the State Penitentiary Service reported.
Earlier, lawyers of the former MP repeatedly raised the issue that he required a comprehensive medical examination, and there were no such conditions in the penal colony 47.
The leader of Ata Meken was sentenced to 8 years in prison on August 16, 2017. He was found guilty under the Article «Corruption» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
