Our compatriot Orozbek Bakytov won the International Contest of Opera Singers in Italy. He himself informed 24.kg news agency.
The contest, organized by the Rome Opera House, was held in Cosenza town on March 13-15. About 60 singers from around the world attended it. Orozbek Bakytov won in the nomination «young artists.»
«The jury consisted of European opera stars, directors, famous conductors and directors of Italian theaters. Only 15 out of 60 singers passed into the second round, and only seven of them reached the final. I won the nomination and received an invitation to work in the Rome Opera House,» he said.
Orozbek Bakytov has been studying for two years at the International Academy of Music in Milan. He performs on the stages of opera houses in Italy.
