Receipt of applications for the 7th National Film Awards Ak Ilbirs ended. The Coordinator of the awards Saltanat Turdukeyeva told.
27 applications have been received. The expert commission began work on the selection of films for the shortlist.
The awarding ceremony will take place on April 27 at Manas cinema.
Ak Ilbirs National Film Awards is the annual ceremony of awarding the best specialists in cinematography on the past year results.
Any film of any genre produced in the country in 2017 can apply for the award. The best film, script, director, operator, artist, editor, composer, sound producer, male and female roles, animated and documentary films will be presented with the award statuettes. In total, there are 18 nominations. One of the prizes will be awarded for an outstanding contribution to the development of the national cinema.
