The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan met with the Russian film director Nikita Mikhalkov, who arrived in Bishkek to participate in the 1st Eurasian Economic Forum.
According to the press service of the Government, the parties discussed cultural and humanitarian cooperation within the framework of the EAEU.
Nikita Mikhalkov told Akylbek Japarov about the idea of creating a Eurasian Film Award «Diamond Butterfly».
The head of the Cabinet expressed his readiness to support the idea, adding that Kyrgyzstan is ready to hold the opening ceremony of the film award next year on the shores of Issyk-Kul lake.
