PM of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov entices investors in Davos

The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov in Davos met with representatives of a number of large international companies and told them why Kyrgyzstan is so attractive for investors. The Public Relations and Media Department of the government reported.

At least five meetings took place within the World Economic Forum. The head of government told in detail about the investment attractiveness of Kyrgyzstan and favorable conditions for investors.

He met with the Chairman of the World Energy Council, Chairman and Executive Director of Daesung company, the head of the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD), the owner of the airlines Fly Dubai and Emirates Airline Mohammed Al-Shaibani, ICD Senior Advisor Chang Soon Young, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sahara Group Tonye Cole and Chairman of the Manchester United Football Club Avie Glazer.

Kyrgyzstan is a state with a quite liberal tax regime. The country has low electricity tariffs, liberal currency regime, which allows free movement of capital and money.

«Attraction of investments is one of the main tasks of the government under my leadership, which in the future will create additional jobs and prerequisites for long-term economic growth. Coming of large companies in our country will give an impetus to the development of the economy of Kyrgyzstan. We are ready to provide all kinds of assistance and support to interested investors,» Sapar Isakov said.

The prime minister told about the government’s programs «Jany Doorgo Kyrk Kadam» and «Taza Koom». In addition, Sapar Isakov suggested the participants of the meeting to consider investing in hydropower and mining projects, projects in the field of tourism and digitalization of the country.

Following the meeting, the head of government invited business representatives to take part in the opening ceremony of the 3rd World Nomad Games as guests.
