Militant preparing terrorist attacks arrested in Kyrgyzstan

A militant who prepared terrorist attacks was detained in Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the State Committee for National Security reported.

It is noted that the staff of the committee during counter-terrorist activities detained a 31-year-old native of Jalal-Abad region.

Since 2015, he has been a member of the armed gangs and participated in military operations against the Syrian government forces. Following the orders of the leaders of an international terrorist organization, he arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic to create a terrorist underground unit and commit terrorist attacks.

The detainee was placed in the pretrial detention center of the State Committee for National Security. Investigative and operational measures continue.
