The republican budget for 2018 will remain socially oriented, the Ministry of Finance reported.
In accordance with the norms of the main directions of the fiscal policy of the KR for 2018-2020, expenditures for the social sphere for 2018 are projected at 89.1 billion soms, which is 4.6 billion more than in 2017.
In 2016-2020, the share of the social sphere is at least 50 percent in relation to the total expenditures of the state budget. The average annual increase in social sector expenditures is 2.7% in the health sector, 1% in education, and 7.2% in social protection. The increase is due to the growth of current as well as investment costs.
