More than three million Kyrgyzstanis passed biometric data

The number of Kyrgyzstanis who have undergone biometric registration has exceeded three million, the State Registration Service reported.

Of these, 70,100 people passed biometric data since May 2017. That is, since the issuance of new biometric passports.

In recent days, in connection with the forthcoming elections, the process of passing the biometric registration has become more active.

Voters, who are not yet on the lists, began to pass biometric data. This can be done before September 30 in any passport office and a registry office, or in the service centers of SRS.

Citizens of the KR over 16 years are allowed to pass the biometrics.

The presidential elections are scheduled for October 15, 2017.
