All smart meters in Kyrgyzstan work according to uniform standards. Deputy Head of the National Energy Holding Nurbek Abaskanov said at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on fuel and energy complex.

«Uniform standards have been adopted. No matter who is the manufacturer of the meters, they must meet our requirements. Since November 2016, we have started to connect them to one server. They work in a unified system," Nurbek Abaskanov said.

He added that the imported meters are being adapted to Kyrgyzstan. Work is underway to manufacture meters in the country. It is planned to take money from the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund for this purpose.

The deputies of the Parliament repeatedly raise the issue of smart meters. They do not like the fact that the meters are mixed.
