The draft resolution proposes the Ministry of Economy, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Service for Economic Crime Control to submit proposals on the organization of mobile posts for identification of the import of unenriched high-grade and first-class bakery flour.
The high level of asiderotic anemia among women and children is a threat to the health and economic growth of the country.
Considering that the share of imported flour on the market is more than 60 percent, the most effective measures to prohibit the circulation of unenriched flour will be the control of imports through the state border of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At present, all types of control, with the exception of the border one, have been abolished at border checkpoints with the countries of the EEU. However, the protection of the territory in terms of preventing the import of unenriched flour is not in competence of the State Border Service. In connection with this, it is proposed to introduce temporary sanitary control.
