Seismologists tell deputies of Kyrgyzstan about forecasts for 2017

Director of the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan Kanatbek Abdrakhmatov told deputies about the forecasts for 2017. He was asked to give information about possible earthquakes today at the session of the Parliament.

According to the scientist, 2017 will be still.

«This year earthquakes will not exceed 5–6 points. Yesterday, an earthquake was recorded in Tajikistan, but waves can also move to our country," Kanatbek Abdrakhmatov said.

He added that even developed countries, such as America or Japan, can’t tell when the next tremor will happen.
