Strong earthquake hits south of Kyrgyzstan

According to preliminary data, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 at the epicenter hit the Batken province of Kyrgyzstan at 10.47 am. The European-Mediterranean Seismic Center (EMSC) reported.

According to it, the epicenter located at a depth of 10 kilometers, 265 kilometers northeast of Dushanbe (Tajikistan), 101 kilometers south of Fargona (Uzbekistan) and 29 kilometers north of Karakenja (Tajikistan).
