Azimov brothers financed by terrorist organization in Turkey

The Azimov brothers — Abror and Akram — detained by the Federal Security Service of Russia on suspicion of organizing a terrorist attack in St. Petersburg metro, were funded by an international terrorist organization in Turkey. Russian portal Vesti.ru reported.

According to it, information was voiced at Basmanny Court, which determined the measure of restraint for Abror and Akram. It was stated, firstly, that the terrorist attack was financed from Turkey. Secondly, the court arrested the tenth defendant in the case on the explosion. This is Akram Asimov. He was detained the day before in Novaya Moskva with a grenade.

According to the investigation, it was he who received money from an international terrorist organization in Turkey and was engaged in drawing up false documents. And his younger brother Abror, detained earlier, was directly preparing a suicide bomber, who set off an explosive device. Before that, the Azimov brothers lived for some time in a small village nearby Murom town.

Recall, the day before, the head of the Federal Security Service of Russia Alexander Bortnikov said that the person who ordered the terrorist attack was practically identified.
