Organizers of terrorist attack in St. Petersburg metro detained near Moscow

One of the organizers of the terrorist attack in the metro of St. Petersburg city was detained in Moscow region (Russia). Russian media reported with reference to sources in FSB.

According to them, Akbarzhon Jalilov contacted Abror Azimov (detained suspect) before exploding himself in the metro in St. Petersburg. The connection was established by tracking the last telephone contacts of the possible suicide bomber.

The investigation continues. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan told 24.kg news agency that citizenship of two more detainees — Obid Abdyraimov and Aizhigit Aitmatov is also being established. They are suspected of recruiting into terrorist groups.
