Bishkek court not changed decision on blocking Azattyk, Zanoza.kg

The Bishkek City Court upheld the decision to block the content of Azattyk and Zanoza.kg. The journalist Naryn Aiyp informed 24.kg news agency.

According to him, today the court considered appeals against private recommendations of the Prosecutor General’s Office about the blocking of the content and arrest of property and accounts of the journalist, information resources and lawyers of Ata Meken leader Omurbek Tekebayev. «But the court rejected the claim," Naryn Aiyp explained. Earlier, the October District Court of the capital issued its decision on this complaint.

The arrest of the property of Naryn Aiyp, imposed on March 16 in connection with the filing of a suit by the Prosecutor General’s Office for 3 million soms, was not lifted.

On April 6, the Prosecutor General’s Office filed another lawsuit to protect the honor and dignity of President Almazbek Atambayev. Claims were again brought against Naryn Aiyp for other 3 million soms.
