Circuit session of Bishkek City Court remanded the leader of Ata Meken Omurbek Tekebayev in custody in GKNB
The decision was made today. Thus, the court upheld the verdict of the first instance court.
The court session as previously was held in the former military court building.
Omurbek Tekebayev is accused of corruption and fraud. The former Minister of Emergency Situations Duishenbek Chotonov also remains in custody. He is also charged with mediation in transferring $1 million to Omurbek Tekebayev from a Russian businessman Leonid Maevskiy.
