Tax Service calls on businesses, government to find middle ground in taxation

The Chairman of the State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan, Almambet Shykmamatov, met with entrepreneurs in Osh, the State Tax Service reported.

According to the agency, the meeting was held in a question-and-answer format.

«The business community was briefed on the modern tools being introduced to identify tax violations, including the analytical system Salyk Kuzot, aimed at increasing the transparency and efficiency of tax administration. The Chairman of the State Tax Service noted that such meetings are aimed at building an open dialogue with businesses, identifying pressing issues, and obtaining specific proposals for their solutions,» the statement says.

Entrepreneurs were able to ask questions and receive clarifications directly from the leadership of the Tax Service.

The Chairman of the State Tax Service emphasized that the state, while protecting its interests, should not forget about entrepreneurs. It is important to find a balance—ensuring fair taxation without creating unnecessary barriers to doing business.

Following the meeting, Almambet Shykmamatov, after listening to the opinions of business community representatives, outlined a number of priority tasks and instructions aimed at improving interactions with entrepreneurs and further enhancing tax administration.
