At the initiative of the Chinese side, in connection with the celebration of Labor Day in China, Torugart-Avtodorozhny and Irkeshtam-Avtodorozhny checkpoints located on the Kyrgyz-Chinese section of the state border will be temporarily closed on May 1, 2025.
As the Information and Communications Department of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic reported, the passage of people, vehicles and cargo through these checkpoints will resume on May 2.
