An online school Tunguch has been launched in a pilot mode for 2025-2028. The Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The main goal of the initiative is to provide quality education to students who cannot attend regular schools due to geographical remoteness, health conditions, or other circumstances. It also aims to develop new learning approaches through digital technologies and innovative teaching methods.
Tunguch online school is undergoing official state registration. Funding will be allocated annually within the funds provided in the republican budget.
Teachers and school staff will receive additional salary allowances for organizing digital education programs.
Additionally, a draft government resolution has been prepared to allow school-age children, who cannot physically attend general educational institutions, to learn in a homeschooling format.
