The head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov reported at a meeting of the Parliament that inflation in 2024 will decrease to 4.2 percent.
He recalled that in 2022 inflation was 14.7 percent, in 2023 — 7.3 percent.
Akylbek Japarov noted that this is happening due to the balanced implementation of the monetary policy of the National Bank and the Ministry of Finance.
«For those who criticize us and say that we are growing only nominally and that inflation is «eating up» growth, I will say that this data is confirmed by our partners, international financial institutions, the International Monetary Fund,» he added.
