Temirbek Erkinov has been appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. The corresponding order was signed by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Recall, Temirbek Erkinov previously worked as an assistant to Akylbek Japarov and was the head of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund. He was detained in Bishkek in May 2023.
It was reported that Erkinov was detained on suspicion of corruption. He was released two weeks later.
