The XXII International Sports Film Festival is held from October 24 to October 29 at venues in Moscow and Moscow Oblast. The website of the event says.
Free screenings of competition films, as well as creative meetings with filmmakers and famous athletes are organized for visitors. The Film Festival is headed by three-time Olympic figure skating champion Irina Rodnina.
The festival program includes more than 50 documentaries, feature films, and animation works by filmmakers from Russia, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Serbia, and Croatia.
The jury, headed by director Natalya Bondarchuk, will determine the winners in 12 nominations, as well as the Grand Prix.
