President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov arrived in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan) for a working visit. The press service of the head of state reported.
According to it, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Baimyrad Annamamedov welcomed Sadyr Japarov at the Ashgabat International Airport.
«A carpet was laid out at the airport, and a guard of honor was lined up. Children in national costumes, greeting the President of Kyrgyzstan, presented him with flowers,» the statement says.
At the invitation of the head of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Sadyr Japarov will take part in the international forum «Interconnection of Times and Civilizations — Basis of Peace and Development», dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fragi.
