As part of his working visit to Osh region, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov took part in the opening of a new secondary school in the southern capital.
He noted that the construction of this educational institution began nine years ago, but was suspended due to lack of funding. Currently, the construction of similar long-term construction projects is being completed.
«More than 37 million soms were allocated from the republican budget for the opening of this school, and today it opened its doors to students. The total amount of funds allocated from the republican budget for construction amounted to 45.9 million soms,» Akylbek Japarov said.
The new school is designed for 275 students and has a modern sports hall.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers called on teachers to «revive thirst for science and knowledge in our people, and to help increase the prestige of the teacher.»
