Kumtor Gold Company CJSC financed the major repairs of the central laboratory at the National Hospital. Its opening after the repairs took place today, September 27, with the participation of the company’s President Almazbek Baryktabasov.
He noted that Kumtor Gold Company, as part of fulfilling its social obligations, always supports healthcare projects not only in Bishkek, but also in the regions. For example, last year the company purchased a unique neurosurgical microscope Leica M 530 OHX2 for the National Hospital, which significantly improved the quality of surgeries. New ultrasound machines were purchased for Jeti-Oguz district hospital and one Bishkek hospital, and the company purchased mobile generators for the Blood Center in Osh region.
«Now the country’s leadership is doing everything possible to raise the provision of medical care to a new level. Kumtor Gold Company is also trying to help in this,» Almazbek Baryktabasov said.
The new building will soon be used for tests and medical examinations, including for Kumtor employees.
«There are 15 offices here now. The main difference between this center and other institutions is that you can undergo an occupational health check here. That is, we prevent occupational diseases,» the head physician said.
