President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov sent a telegram of condolences to the leader of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam over the numerous casualties as a result of Typhoon Yagi.
«I received with deep sorrow the sad news of the large number of casualties as a result of Typhoon Yagi in Vietnam. On behalf of the people of Kyrgyzstan and on my own behalf, I express my sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims. I wish a speedy recovery to all those affected by the natural disaster!» the telegram reads.
At least 143 people died in Vietnam due to Typhoon Yagi, 58 are missing.
