Emergencies Ministry of Kyrgyzstan plans to buy another Airbus helicopter

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan intends to buy another Airbus helicopter. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to the Kyrgyz Republic François Delaus told journalists.

According to him, the ministry is conducting the relevant negotiations.

Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations purchased two helicopters from the French-German Airbus company. The second helicopter was purchased in the Federal Republic of Germany at the expense of the republican budget.

«The Airbus H145 is equipped with the latest navigation equipment, an autopilot, is designed for 8 passenger seats, a TAS 620 traffic advisory system, and an additional air purification system. The use of new equipment will help prevent disasters and eliminate their consequences, as well as reduce the time of response to emergency situations. At the same time, individuals and legal entities will also be able to use this helicopter for commercial purposes for a set fee. The funds from these purposes will go to the country’s budget,» the ministry reported earlier.

The French diplomat believes that this is a kind of sign of trust. In August 2022, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received new special equipment, including the first new Airbus H-125 helicopter, designed for four passenger seats.

French Ambassador François Delaus is completing his diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan.
