Kyrgyzstanis won medals at the Hand-to-Hand Fighting World Championship, which was held on August 3-7 in Orel city (Russia). The Vice President of the Hand-to-Hand Fighting Federation the Kyrgyz Republic, Turatbek Dzholdoshev, announced at a press conference.
Kyrgyz athletes won four gold, five silver and 10 bronze medals.
The world champions are Meerimai Nuradilova, Sayan Toktosunov (youth), Nazarbek uulu Bekarstan and Turatbek Dzholdoshev (veterans).
More than 100 athletes from 26 countries took part in the championship.
