Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC together with Indian investors will invest $25 million in the construction of a new gold mill at Solton-Sary field in Jalal-Abad region. Narynbek Satybaldiev, deputy chairman of the company’s board, announced at a press conference.
«We have started works on complete modernization of production. We are building a new gold mill and plan to get the first gold in 6 — 8 months. Total investments amount to $25 million. At least 400 people will be employed after commissioning of the enterprise,» Narynbek Satybaldiev said.
He also reported on calculations that showed that secondary processing of gold-containing waste from Tereksai mine tailings has a good potential. Design solutions for secondary development of tailings are at the approval stage with the authorized state body on subsoil use.
