A worker died at Kichi Chaarat gold mining enterprise in Chakmak-Suu village, Chatkal district. The Internal Affairs Department of Jalal-Abad region informed 24.kg news agency.
The accident occurred on July 30 at about 7.30 a.m. The 39-year-old local resident was jammed by a press filter at the factory. The man was examining parts inside the press filter when the equipment suddenly started working and jammed him. A forensic examination has been ordered.
The deceased had been working at the factory since 2019. He had five children.
