Deputy Chairman of Cabinet Torobaev attends inauguration of Iranian President

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev met with newly elected President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian. The press service of the Cabinet reported.

Bakyt Torobaev conveyed words of greetings and congratulations on behalf of President Sadyr Japarov and Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov on the occasion of the official inauguration of the President of Iran and wished great success in this important and responsible position for the prosperity of the Iranian people.

The deputy head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted the high level of political contacts between the two countries, emphasizing that Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to friendly relations with Iran, which create a solid basis for the development of bilateral cooperation in many areas.

Masoud Pezeshkian expressed readiness of the Iranian side to continue a permanent political dialogue, as well as the progressive development and strengthening of Kyrgyzstan-Iran cooperation.

Bakyt Torobaev also attended the official presidential inauguration ceremony as the head of the Kyrgyz delegation.

Heads of state, government and parliaments of a number of foreign countries, including the President of Tajikistan, Prime Minister of Armenia, speakers of Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers — Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, as well as first persons of other states arrived in Tehran to attend the event.
