Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Aibek Moldogaziev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Kyrgyz Republic Du Dewen held a procedure of exchange of diplomatic notes on the opening of Bedel international checkpoint. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The opening of the international checkpoint will create conditions for the passage of citizens, cargo and vehicles of the Kyrgyz Republic, China, as well as third countries across the border. This will increase the transport and export potential of the country, increase mutual trade turnover and strengthen trade relations between the two countries, as well as improve cooperation in the field of tourism.
The new additional transport corridor will undoubtedly have a positive effect on the development of the country’s transport and logistics infrastructure, including reducing the time of delivery of goods from the People’s Republic of China to the Kyrgyz Republic.
