Kyrgyzstani Aiperi Medet kyzy won a gold medal at the freestyle wrestling tournament held as part of the Asian Games in China. The Games’ website reports.
In the weight category up to 76 kilograms in the final, Aiperi Medet kyzy defeated Jamilya Bakbergenova from Kazakhstan — 7:4.
Earlier, Kyrgyzstani Nurzat Nurtaeva (up to 68 kilograms) won a silver medal, and Aisulu Tynybekova (up to 62 kilograms) won a bronze medal.
Bekzat Almaz uulu (up to 57 kilograms) will fight for a bronze medal today.
