Kyrgyzstan introduced temporary regulation of prices for bread and bakery products. The press service of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce reported.
An order was issued on the introduction of temporary state regulation of prices for wheat bread made from first-grade flour (tinned bread), bakery products (flatbread) in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The measures were reportedly taken to prevent the rise in prices for socially important bread and bakery products and ensure their affordability for the population. However, the upper price limit for these products and the duration of the restriction are not indicated.
At the end of September, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution on the introduction of a temporary ban on the export of certain types of agricultural goods from the Kyrgyz Republic.
