Members of the parliamentary committee on constitutional legislation, state structure, judicial, legal issues and regulations agreed to the early dismissal of a judge of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic Dilfuza Boronbaeva.
According to the Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers in the Parliament Nurlan Boobekov, the judge submitted a letter of resignation.
Deputies asked what was the reason for the resignation. Nurlan Boobekov replied that he did not know this.
In January 2021, the State Committee for National Security found unaccounted wealth of Dilfuza Boronbaeva. According to investigators, the judge of the judicial board for civil and economic cases of the Supreme Court hid numerous property items, including more than 20 apartments in luxury houses built by leading construction companies, as well as real estate in prestigious resorts in Issyk-Kul region and luxury cars.
Parliament removed the judge Dilfuza Boronbaeva from office in the same year.
