The quality of meat products in Kyrgyzstan can be checked using a QR code. The Ministry of Agriculture of the republic reported.
According to it, the Veterinary Service has introduced an identification system that allows to scan a QR code on a showcase and check the quality and shelf life of meat before you buy it.
«The QR code, or the so-called electronic circulation of documents, records the entire chain of operations with meat products, from the slaughter of livestock to the meat counters. Thus, you can find out the age of the animal, where it was brought from, when the cattle were slaughtered, whether the meat meets all veterinary and sanitary standards, and much more,» the ministry added.
