Since the beginning of March, mutton has risen in price by 13.77 soms in Kyrgyzstan. The National Statistical Committee provided such data.
If as of March 1 mutton cost 531.97 soms, then on the last day of the month — 545.74 soms. At the same time, it has risen in price most of all in Bishkek — by almost 25 soms. But, it fell in price in Kerben and Kara-Balta by 10 and 6.67 soms, respectively.
As of the end of March, the highest price of mutton was registered in Batken and Kara-Suu — 600 soms per kilogram. This type of meat was sold at a lower price in the village of Pokrovka in Manas district (450 soms), as well as in Toktogul (485 soms).
