President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed a law amending the Code of Offenses. Press service of the head of state reported.
It is proposed to set the following sanctions for violation of the bans and restrictions established by law on the circulation of plastic film bags and plastic products on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic:
- For violation of the ban on the production of bags of polymer film and plastic products — for individuals — 10,000 soms, for legal entities — 28,000 soms;
- For violation of the ban on the sale of bags of polymer film and plastic products — for individuals — 3,000 soms, for legal entities — 13,000 soms;
- For violation of the ban on the free provision with bags made of polymer film and plastic products in trade and the service sector — a warning for individuals and legal entities, in case of repeated violation within one year after the warning is issued — for individuals — 1,000 soms, for legal entities — 5,000 soms;
- For violation of the ban on the use of bags made of polymer film and plastic products — for individuals — 1,000 soms, for legal entities — 5,000 soms.
Fines are introduced from January 1, 2027.
It is proposed to introduce the following sanctions for violation of the bans and restrictions established by law on the circulation of plastic film bags and all types of plastic products on the territory of the resort and recreational zone of Issyk-Kul region, the park and beach zone and the shore zone of Issyk-Kul lake:
- For violation of the ban on the sale and use of plastic film bags and all types of plastic products — a warning for individuals and legal entities, in case of repeated violation within one year after the warning is issued — for individuals — 3,000 soms, for legal entities — 10,000 soms soms;
- For violation of the ban on the free provision with plastic film bags and all types of plastic products in trade and the service sector — a warning for individuals and legal entities, in case of repeated violation within one year after the warning is issued — for individuals — 2,000 soms, for legal entities persons — 8,000 soms.
Responsibility will be introduced after 15 days from the date of official publication of the adopted law.
The adopted law comes into force after 15 days from the date of its official publication.
