In January — June 2023, budget expenditures for servicing the public debt are estimated at 20,196 billion soms. The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan provided such data.
Most of the amount — 13,786.1 billion soms — are payments on the external debt. At least 6,409.9 billion were allocated to pay off the domestic public debt.
As of May 2023, the public debt of Kyrgyzstan reached $5,667.63 billion.
