RKDF to allocate $630 million to finance new projects

The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF) will allocate $630 million to finance new projects. Its head Artem Novikov told.

According to him, the RKDF approved the strategy for 2023-2027.

Artem Novikov added that for eight years of operation, the fund has invested $520 million in various projects that are being implemented in Kyrgyzstan.

The fund faces new large-scale tasks for the modernization and technological re-equipment of the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

«In addition to traditional financing, we will finance start-up projects in the fields of industry, agro-industrial complex, renewable energy sources, logistics, IT infrastructure and other areas, as well as develop new loan products that will make our resources even more accessible and in demand on the country’s market,» Artem Novikov said.

He believes that the implementation of the strategy will increase the volume of exports produced by the fund’s borrowers within five years by $1.2 billion.
