At least 480 students will study at Akylman presidential lyceum. The draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan on the approval of regulations on the educational institution says. The document was submitted for public discussion by the Ministry of Education and Science.
The background statement says that the project was developed in order to create a new model of a general education organization that provides support and development of the individual characteristics of gifted (talented) students and their pre-professional training in the field of science, mathematics, engineering education and IT technologies.
The regulation establishes the procedure for organizing educational, managerial, administrative, financial, economic and other activities, taking into account modern requirements for the system and content of school education and advanced pedagogical practice in a particular educational organization.
For the maintenance of the material and technical base, remuneration of teachers and other employees, including contributions to the Social Fund, as well as catering and maintenance of children, it is necessary to allocate additional 48,952 million soms from the republican budget annually.
On June 14, Sadyr Japarov signed a decree on the establishment of the presidential lyceum. The institution will be located in Cholpon-Ata. It will admit students after the 6th grade. The procedure for admission will be determined by the Cabinet of Ministers. The institution will report directly to the Ministry of Education and Science.
