The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan has begun work on drafting a bill on amendments to the Tax Code. Press service of the ministry reported.
An interdepartmental working group was formed by order dated June 15, 2023. The first meeting was held on June 21, 2023. The group consists of representatives of the competent state authorities, tax consultants and experts, representatives of the banking sector. In addition, it includes business representatives.
The group includes the Association of Suppliers (Producers and Distributors), the Association for Development of Agro-Industrial Complex of Kyrgyzstan, RSM Outsourcing LLC, the International Business Council, the Chamber of Tax Advisers, the Association of Telecom Operators, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, JIA Association, the Association of Markets, Trade Enterprises and Services Sector of Kyrgyzstan.
«Making amendments to the Tax Code is a continuous process aimed at creating and maintaining a balance between the interests of the taxpayer and the state. At the same time, in order to systematize the issues of making changes to such a significant legal act for both taxpayers and the state, according to the requirements of the newly enacted Tax Code, changes to it will be made only once a year,» the Ministry of Economy and Commerce said.
