The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan announced the damage from a fire that occurred on Tuesday at petroleum storage depot near Shopokov station.
According to the press service of the ministry, two fuel trucks, four cars and six oil storage tanks burned down. Four people were injured in the fire. The causes of the incident are being investigated.
The fire broke out in the afternoon. Several fuel tanks exploded. The fire was completely extinguished only in the evening. Eight fire brigades and Kyrgyz Temir Zholu fire train, three ambulance brigades, as well as a headquarters under the leadership of the head of Chui region worked at the scene.
