Presidential Envoy to Issyk-Kul region Iliyaz Imanbetov visited the families of people killed during the construction of an airport in Karakol and expressed his condolences. Office of the Presidential Envoy to the region reported.
The accident happened on June 5. According to eyewitnesses, the metal structure collapsed on the builders. Two workers died — Rustam Amankulov, 45, and Azamat Baigeldiev, 42.
The deceased Azamat Baigeldiev had a wife and three children, Rustam Amankulov had a wife and four children.
One of the workers, Adylbek Osmonov, is in the traumatology department, his condition is stable. The head of the region visited him in the hospital.
Iliyaz Imanbetov noted that assistance would be provided by the state.
