The Accounts Chamber conducted 78 audit activities in 2022, during which 1,666 structural and subordinate units were checked. Press service of the Accounts Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.
«During the year, the Accounts Chamber revealed violations of financial discipline for 46 billion soms and 404 procedural violations. In total, 15,544 billion soms of the total amount of detected violations are subject to compensation, of which 7,174 billion soms have been reimbursed,» the statement says.
Based on the results of audit activities, the following types of violations were detected:
- Violations committed during formation and consideration of draft budgets of the budgetary system of the Kyrgyz Republic in the amount of 67.8 million soms;
- Violations and shortcomings in the execution of budgets of the budgetary system of the Kyrgyz Republic amounted to 26.6 million soms;
- Violations and shortcomings in the use of property for 6.8 million soms;
- Violations of the accounting and reporting procedure for 9.7 million soms;
- Violations of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of public procurement for 1.6 million soms;
- Violations of normative legal acts and international agreements for 1.1 million soms.
In the reporting year, the Accounts Chamber conducted audits of the preparation and execution of the budgets of City Halls of 18 cities and 207 rural administrations. Criminal cases were initiated on 30 audit materials.
