Director of the Master’s, Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies Center of the Naryn State University was caught red-handed when giving a bribe. The State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (SCNS) reported.
According to the state committee, the suspect intended to hand over $4,000 to a security services officer.
The head of the center was mentioned in the materials of the pre-investigation check on the fact of violations of the legislation in the field of education. Management of the university is suspected of abuse of official position, violations of the requirements for the procedure of enrollment, transfer and readmission of students, illegal issue of diplomas of higher education to foreign students.
