Loans of 75 Batken entrepreneurs affected during the conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border in April 2021, issued in the form of assistance in the amount of 200,000 soms will be written off. The bill proposed by the Ministry of Finance was adopted by the Parliament in the first reading.
According to Deputy Finance Minister Ulukbek Kalendarov, the total amount of the loans is 15 million soms.
«The affected entrepreneurs received 200,000 soms free of charge as assistance, other 200,000 as loans. The total amount is 15 million soms. We propose to write off these funds,» he said.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the amount of damage to Batken entrepreneurs as a result of the aggression by Tajikistan in April 2021 amounted to 1,093 billion soms.
